I fell in love with photography around the age of 12 or 13. As an adolescent and young teen, capturing moments was a way to document my life and preserve memories. However, as I grew older, the demands of education pushed photography to the sidelines.
Then, I made the decision to leave college. I found myself in a state of under-stimulation, living without a sense of purpose. During a bout of spring cleaning, I stumbled upon my dad’s old film camera from the 90s. Capturing my first roll of film reignited my passion all over again.
Reconnecting with photography reminded me of why I started in the first place – to chronicle my life and cherish memories. With maturity, my appreciation for photography deepened, adding layers of meaning to each shot. Photography became a means of documenting my culture, my family, my memories. It became a means of documenting me. And so, here we are! Welcome to my photographic journey, where we celebrate life through its grand gestures and subtle nuances alike. Join me in capturing the beauty of every moment.
